The Aprilia Tuono 660 2021 is Now Official

The naked sister of the sporty RS 660 has already been officially unveiled, the Aprilia Tuono 660 2021 is here.

The Aprilia Tuono 660 2021 is a semi-faired naked like the Tuono 1100 V4, that promises a lot of fun and a price somewhat lower than that of the RS 660.

Based on the Aprilia RS 660, it has the same cycle and engine part, although the more upright riding position, the rubber footpegs, the semi-fairing and some other details make it a more versatile motorcycle.

At 183 kilos and 95 hp it is somewhat lighter and less powerful than the RS, but its flat handlebar will give it devilish handling on winding sections, better even than the RS.

Its twin-cylinder engine is the same but with 5 HP less than the RS, with five power modes, Aprilia Traction Control, AWC Aprilia Wheelie Control, ACC Aprilia Cruise Control, AQS Aprilia Quick Shift, Aprilia Engine Brake, IMU, Cornering ABS, full led lighting and instrumentation with color TFT screen with Bluetooth.

The Aprilia Tuono 660 derives from the RS 600, and shares an engine and cycle part

The cycle part is the same as the RS, with an aluminum perimeter chassis with supporting motor, double wishbone swingarm, 17 ”wheels, 43 mm Kayaba inverted fork, rear monoshock without linkage, and double 320 front brake disc mm, with radial Brembo calipers.

The aesthetic is halfway between the RS 660 and the Tuono 1100 V4, with its front with three elongated optics and a very tight semi-fairing anchored to the chassis, like a windshield drift dome.
