More Chinese Copies: Not Only Sports, but also a Royal Enfield Himalayan

Chinese motorcycle factories (the country has more than 200, which are not few) do not have any kind of blush to copy Japanese or European motorcycles. A few days ago we saw a faithfully reproduced Ducati Panigale, but with a 500 cc engine and 47 CV.

Most of the time, they even reproduce the logos of the most popular sports. But not only these have their replicas in the Chinese version.

The well-known brand Hanway has launched a trail that is virtually identical to the popular Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Except for slight details (front fenders, tank pads) the Hanway G30 Adventure is a copy of the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Even the seat height or the wheelbase are the same.

The main difference lies in the engine: that of the Royal Enfield is a single cylinder 411 cc. cooled by air that produces 24,5 CV, whereas the one of the Hanway is a LC of 249 c.c. that delivers 25 CV.

But these isn’t all, the Hanway G30 Adventure also takes elements of another brand: the swingarm is a faithful replica of those mounted on the KTM Duke and Adventure, with its interior reinforcements, and the digital display is virtually identical to that of the motorcycles by Mattighofen.
